WELCOME TO THE

BOSTON CORPORATE FINANCE COMMUNITY

Our Boston Corporate Finance Community (BCFC) has established a pre-eminent reputation for its collaboration and leadership in all aspects of the corporate debt capital markets. Our collaboration has involved firms dedicated to Corporate Finance, Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Specialty Finance while working closely with trusted advisors in the Accounting, Asset Valuation, Restructuring, Legal, and Auditing fields.

We have expanded our collaborative spirit, establishing an annual celebration that will not only be a premier networking event, but more importantly, will provide us with an opportunity to create a long-term partnership with an outstanding Boston nonprofit, More Than Words.

This year, we are honoring Bill Mayer, Executive Vice President, Group Head, Wells Fargo Equipment Finance. We hope to see you at our next celebration!

MORE THAN WORDS

More Than Words is a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers youth who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless, or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.

2019 GATHERS TO GIVE BACK HONOREE

Bill worked closely with Vibrant Boston to support the rehab of the Lenox Camden Housing Teen Center. This work was critical to the organization’s mission, which is to engage youth and their families in education, enrichment, and wellness.

Bill also helped launch and establish the Wells Fargo New England Partnering Board to support organizations across New England that focus on education, job training, and affordable housing.

Bill is particularly passionate about education, and has been very involved with his alma mater Penn State. He is often invited to speak with students from Penn State’s

Smeal College of Business to provide career advice and guidance. In addition, he gave generously to establish a trustee scholarship for students in need, and to support the Rogers Family Trading Room, which replicates a real-world trading experience. The college awarded Bill with The Smeal Undergraduate Distinguished Achievement Award, which honors alumni whose career achievements have brought distinction to themselves and the college, and whose commitments of time, talent, or resources enhanced the college’s prestige, and for their extraordinary commitment to diversity and the college’s mission.
