The continued support of the Boston Corporate Finance Community (BCFC) Gathers to Give Back event has been so incredible! We are excited to announce that the sixth annual networking reception will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. In addition to celebrating our long-term partnership with More Than Words (MTW), the 2024 honoree is Holly Etlin, Partner and Managing Director, AlixPartners.

 

Our objective, since inception in 2018, was to create a premier networking event while supporting MTW, an exceptional non-profit social enterprise that empowers the most vulnerable and disadvantaged youth through a job training and development program that teaches life-changing skills that provide a path to self-sufficiency.  

 

The enthusiasm and engagement that BCFC has shown for this event is truly incredible. The impact is tremendous: our community has contributed over $1.6 million in net proceeds over the last 6 years. These funds have provided the capital to help MTW expand its enterprise to serve more youth and provide additional resources and support. As MTW noted in its 2023 Annual Report “Every year MTW youth make big moves forward in work and life.” We are very grateful to BCFC for its tremendous support of our event.

 

Holly Etlin, a Certified Turnaround Professional, is a seasoned operational and financial executive with over 30 years of experience. She specializes in providing high impact consulting and interim management services for companies in the retail, distribution and consumer products industries. A graduate of UCLA, she has received numerous accolades from her industry peers for her successful turnarounds, including, the 2014 Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Woman of Year in Restructuring, as well as the 2017 TMA Turnaround of the Year award for her work at BCBG Max-Azria. We are very excited to celebrate Holly’s contributions to our industry.
